Register through the official website of the event, see below for details.

You can participate individually or as a team. The number of teams must not exceed 5 people. Each player can only join one team.

When a team participates in the competition, one member must submit the work uniformly, and other members must register their real names when registering.

Promotion restrictions

Under the same research field (track), a maximum of 2 teams guided by the same mentor can advance to the finals.

If the core logic or innovation of the algorithms is found to be highly similar in the preliminary round or finals, the teams will be merged into one team after the judges’ decision and the contestants will be notified.

Fee description

The competition does not charge registration fees or judging fees. Participants must bear their own travel, food and accommodation expenses.

Other instructions

Successful registration means that the contestants agree to and abide by all the rules of this competition. If a contestant violates the notice, rules, agreement, etc., the organizer has the right to disqualify the contestant.

10·Preliminary stage review mechanism

Teams that pass the qualification review must complete technical testing on the designated algorithm competition platform and submit complete algorithm results as required. The competition platform will dynamically update the preliminary performance rankings of each team based on the quality of the optimal solution. The review experts will combine the platform's real-time ranking data and professional review opinions to finally select the list of teams that advance to the finals.

It should be noted that the originality and technological innovation of algorithm design will be important scoring dimensions. Teams found to have committed academic misconduct will be immediately disqualified from the competition. All contestants must strictly abide by the confidentiality agreement and any form of discussion of competition topics, leakage of plans and other violations of the competition regulations are prohibited.

11 · Final stage review process

The promoted team must participate in the on-site defense session, which includes two core modules: technical solution presentation (including system demonstration) and expert questioning and defense. The jury composed of authoritative experts in the field will comprehensively evaluate the solution quality, technical implementation integrity, academic professional depth, innovation value dimensions and other indicators of the solution, and finally evaluate special, first-class, and second-class awards. The final result is determined by the weight of "preliminary score (40%) + defense score (60%)" and will be announced simultaneously at the defense site and on the official website of the conference.

The defense and awards will be held at the 7th International Conference on Data-Driven Optimization of Complex Systems (DOCS 2025).
